Abstract Submission & Awards

EMCHD 2022 would like to invite you to submit abstract(s). The submission must be done online and follow the below principals

• Only original research can be submitted for oral and poster sessions.

• Abstracts must follow the submission instructions: Abstracts must be submitted in English and limited to 300 words. Abstract must include one title (max. 200 characters) and belong to one of the conference topics. You may provide up to 2 references. It is possible to upload pictures (up 1000 x 1000 pixel) and chart.

• Multiple abstract submissions are permitted. Submissions imply the willingness of at least one author to register, attend the conference, and present the research.

• The accepted papers will be presented in-person (no virtual presentations are allowed unless the nature of the conference is changed) and in English (that is the official language of the conference).

• Only accepted papers for posters can be presented during the poster sessions.

• Deadline of abstract submission: April 30, 2022. Notification will be sent before the end of June.

After the submission, an acknowledgement email is sent automatically to the author, to ensure that your abstract has been properly uploaded. The presenting author for both oral sessions as well as posters, must register and pay for attending the congress, in order to participate the conference.

All abstracts will be peer-reviewed. We will have electronic proceedings to be published on the website.

TRAVEL AWARDS & BEST POSTER AWARDS

EMCHD 2022 offers 15 Travel Awards (€300 each) and 15 Best Poster Awards (€300 each). The awards will be granted during EMCHD conference in Bern.

All junior researchers who submit abstract(s) are automatically included in the Travel Award evaluation. Junior researchers are defined as students or researchers who are less than 5 years after the PhD thesis defensio. Abstract submitter will be able to declare the junior researcher role in the abstract submission form. All poster presentations will be included in the consideration of Best Poster Awards. No application is required.

POSTERBOARD

Poster dimension: The poster board display area is 118 cm (width) and 146 cm (height). The poster should not excess the poster display area. Posters are mounted by pins (provided by the conference). All the poster boards will be numbered after the poster submission number and the submitters should display the corresponding posters on the correct poster boards.

Poser mounting: August 27 from 7.30

Dismantle: August 29 from 14.00 .
